A group of microwave type-III bursts observed by the 2.6-3.8 GHz spectrometer of Beijing Astronomical Observatory (BAO) on 1998 April 15 is introduced in detail in this paper. They have the characteristics of broad bandwidth (>100MHz), short durations (<100ms), very high polarization degrees (~100%), positive frequency drift rates (>1 GHz/s), and fast pulsations (with a period of about 100 ms). Their time profiles are also analyzed. According to these characteristics, we suggest that these microwave type III bursts are due to the plasma fundamental emission.
