The southern part of Tessera Fortuna and the northwestern part of Tessera Laima consist of parquet with signs of downward shifts along regional slopes; the southern part of Tessera Laima is complicated by irregular or 'stagnant' parquet. The tesseras are divided by two extension belts with dikes, linear extrusions, and volcanoes. Clusters of volcano-tectonic central-type ('spider') complexes are mapped as well as large volcano-tectonic ring shapes (coronas). The abundance of morphologically diverse volcanic structures raises the question of volcanism types and the nature of the Venusian crust.
