The author generalizes the theory of sun-climate/weather links and climatic change developed earlier by the author. On the basis of this generalized theory, he shows mathematically that key climatic/weather parameters are continuously subjected to determinable amplitude modulations and other variations which may be useful in climatic prediction work. A number of new and known oscillations in climate and atmospheric behaviour in general are deduced from the theory and accounted for in terms of their causative physical processes. Finally the author discusses the possibility of applying the theory to the planets Mars and Venus as well as Saturn's largest satellite Titan.
