The reasons to develop a multimoment and multispecies model are underlined. We sum up the originality of the generalized model and also its limits of application. We illustrate the interest of the generalized model by comparing the collisional transfers of momentum and energy in our model with that of other previous multimoment and multispecies models. These transfers are determined between the electrons and the protons in the solar coronal holes. The role of the suprathermal part of the velocity distribution function as observed in the solar wind is underlined.
