The possibilities of a General System for Astronomical Image analysis is described. The concepts of the software are exposed: modular, conversational, interactive, possibility of automatic execution, options, importance of data files, use of direct access to the disk. Some astronomical applications are developed: stellar photometry, analysis of bi-dimensional astronomical objects, classical spectrography, bi-dimensional spectrography.
