Pictures of the gegenschein in blue light have been obtained all along the ecliptic with a photometer (ERC) on board the D2B satellite. Those pictures are compared with pictures computed from a model of the zodiacal light. It is found necessary to enhance the phase function for phase angles between 177 and 180 deg in order to simulate the increase of intensity observed close to the antisolar direction. Temporal variations of the gegenschein (higher intensity) seem to be observed during the first three months of the one year spacecraft activity.
