To date, over 80 cataclysmic variables (CVs) have been observed with the Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE), providing 910 -- 1188 Å spectroscopy of a variety of CVs with differing subtypes, orbital periods, and viewing inclinations. Although many intensive studies of individual systems have been undertaken, an analysis of the broad properties of the class has not. We report here results of a survey of the FUSE spectra of CVs. We discuss the broad FUV properties of CVs as a function of binary evolution, magnetic field strengths, mass accretion rates, and system geometries.
