We present a novel method for analyzing spectra of Luminous InfraRed Galaxies (LIRGs) and demonstrate it on a large mid-infrared spectroscopic dataset taken with the Spitzer space telescope. First, we utilize a Bayesian based estimator, marginalizing over luminosity, obscuration and instrument noise, to produce likelihood ratios describing the degree of resemblance between every possible pair of spectra. Second, we use a visualization algorithm based on force-directed network layouts to efficiently discern large-scale trends across the sample. In so doing, we are able to deduce possible evolutionary trends in the sample of LIRGs considered.
