Neon emission has not been detected in the Cas A remnant since Minkowski (1957) reported finding Ne III 3869 forbidden line emission in one of Cas A's knots. A CCD image of Cas A is presented taken through a narrow passband filter centered near the Ne III 3869 forbidden line which shows that while forbidden Ne III emission is neither bright nor widespread in Cas A, a few potentially Ne-rich filaments appear indeed to be present. These include the NW edge of the remnant's very bright Filament 1, two bright northern rim emission knots, and two small and otherwise unremarkable north central knots. These candidate Ne-rich ejecta knots may finally help resolve Cas A's neon abundance.
