An objective prism survey of stars of spectral type A5 and earlier is being made of stars in high galactic latitude regions as part of an investigation of galactic structure perpendicular to the galactic plane. The first area to be surveyed under this program is 1 HLF 4 (1^II = 76°, b^II = -45°). A finding list containing positions and spectral types for thirty-four stars is presented, with finding charts for the stars too faint to be included in the BD catalogue.
