We report the performance of a fast (15 ns) Atmel 4Mbit SRAM designed in the frame of a CNES contract for use in space applications. These applications direct the availability of products exhibiting latch up immunity, 200-300 Krads total dose capability and simple SEU induced errors mechanisms(allowing mitigation with classical EDAC). It is made available to any mil and space quality grades, including SCC and QML. Furthermore, the considered SRAM is cost effective thanks to the dual and volume based technology used
