Solar Magnetic Fields: Dynamo Theory, Plasma: Dynamo Theory

Based on Maxwell equations in moving media, the magnetic induction equation in the moving plasma is derived. With the magnetic induction equation, one can get a more efficient dynamo transforming kinetic energy of the moving plasma to magnetic energy. This model of dynamo possesses oscillatory solutions. The oscillation of magnetic field can explain the variation of the solar magnetic field.
