Using a sample of 40 cluster spirals, we have derived correlations between their near-infrared bulge and disc diameters and rotational velocities. We find that faster rotating galaxies (i.e. more massive galaxies) are intrinsically larger and have greater bulge-to-disc ratios. This correlation demonstrates the dependence of morphology on rotational velocity, and is consistent with that found from optical studies. The effect of surface brightness on this relation is discussed. The diameter-mass relation of spirals, found here, has important implications for theories of formation of galaxies.
