A device is presented whose main purpose is to investigate the energy
and intensity characteristics of X-ray bursts, X-ray pulsars, and the
localization of nonstationary X-ray sources in the 2-25 keV energy
range. It contains both an amplitude and intensity analyzer. The many
astrophysical areas in which this device can be used are described.
