The new luminous device LCD (liquzid crystal display) has been widely used in automatic control system even though the circuit of the interface between LCD and single chip processor is more complicated than that for LCD. This paper presents the design of a LCD interface which is adapted to fine automatic control systems with stepper motors. The system discussed here can be applied to an astronomical telescope to automatically track stars and make the data acquisition easy.
