An FIR (finit impulse response) filter is applied to a low-frequency time-code receiver and the FIR filtering for the low-frequency time-code receiver is implemented with the DSP (digital signal processor) chip TMS320C5402. The results show that the FIR filter can restrain the relatively serious interference and reduce the distortion for the signal so as to be helpful for completing the high-performance timing receiver.
