The deepest search yet for pulsed emission from the supernova remnant
Cassiopeia A shows there to be no clear pulsar candidate at 408 MHz with
a mean flux density over 80 mJy and period between 0.02 and 4 s. A
similar search at 81.5 MHz places an upper limit of 700 mJy for periods
between 1 and 4 s.
