We have previously noted the quasar PKS 1055+201, (= 4C 20.24), as an example where we separately detect the X-ray emission from the narrow radio jet, and also from extended plasma along the entire length of the jet and counter-jet. We have recently obtained a deep Chandra image, increasing the exposure by a factor of eight. We can now study the spectral index in spatially resolved regions. Surprisingly, we do not detect obvious spectral gradients in the jet or in the extended emission. The spectrum of the jet is steeper than the surrounding regions by 0.25 in the energy index. We see that the extended emission is somewhat irregular, not a uniform surface brightness as previously assumed. To the north, we detect X-ray emission throughout the region where the 1460-MHz emission makes two apparent right angle bends. Additional X-ray emission is detected quasi-symmetric about the quasar, and we tentatively interpret this as emission from a cluster of galaxies. We also report on our 324 MHz observations which detect the southern radio lobe.
