Until now the only relativistic concept of self-similarity, due to Cahill and Taub, corresponded to Newtonian self-similarity of the "first" (homothetic) class. It is shown here that there is in fact also a natural relativistic generalisation for self similarities of the generic "second" class as well as the commonly overlooked "zeroth" class.
