A Cosmos survey of deep Schmidt plates in three colors is used to examine the distribution of stars and unresolved light in the Local Group dwarf irregular galaxy IC 1613. Color-magnitude diagrams and luminosity functions are derived as a function of position in the galaxy, showing differences in the history of star formation activity. The area around association A10, which is rich in H-alpha emission, shows the youngest ages, while there are other, smaller young areas spread out over much of the inner galaxy. In the outer parts, the ages are larger, with the most recent star formation activity having occurred about 5 x 10 to the 6th yr ago. Fits of the radial profiles of resolved stars show an exponential intensity distribution with a slope of 800 pc.
