The possible existence of a relation between the redshift and morphological type of galaxies is examined. Data taken in the 5500-7500 A region with a dispersion of 90 A/mm are considered, and comprised 59 mixed pairs with a difference of radial speed less than 1000 km/sec. The particular subsample group studied revealed a correlation between the shift excess and the spiral form of the galaxies.
