A control system for diaphragm on the DCMT has been proposed. It is necessary to have a control system on the automatic meridian circle to control the nadir mirror and the two auto-collimation imagines. The principle of design for the diaphragm is presented. This system can work in both the modes of connecting with computer and off-connecting with computer. The system has been mounted on the DCMT. It has been shown that the design is reasonable and the operation is very convenient.
