In the paper a cosmological model is proposed based on the fact that the rest mass of neutrinos seems to be a nonvanishing quantity. A model of the universe filled with neutrinos but having as general trend a contracting character is discussed: the red shift observed in astronomy is also interpreted in this model viewed as a counter example. Some epistemological comments are also made.
