A recently published spectral analysis of the entire EGRET blazar database revealed several interesting and previously unreported results. The analysis used the EGRET skymaps that were regenerated to include the changes in performance during the mission. In the second part of our work, we present some of the results of an exhaustive look at the multi-epoch gamma-ray spectral energy distributions of all the blazars. For the well observed sources, the trends seen in the spectral index vs. flux space, and the associated short-term temporal hysteresis pattern appear as an interplay between the several emission-mechanisms possibly operating in the MeV-GeV energy region. We will also present the 9-year cumulated-broadband gamma-ray SEDs for the blazars, some of which suggest the relative importance of the various emission mechanisms. Also of interest are the intricacies in the SEDs of a few less observed sources that can provide cues for further analysis using FERMI data.
