We model the Class I source L1551-IRS 5, in Taurus, assuming a flattened infalling envelope described by the sheet collapse model of Hartmann, Calvet, & Boss (1996), surrounding the binary disk system revealed by VLA 7 mm interferometry by Rodriguez et al. (1998). With our composite model, we can calculate self-consistently the spectral energy distribution of L1551-IRS 5, including the most recent data of the ice and silicate features, the extended spatial brightness distribution given by the SCUBA maps, the scattered light images, and the spatial intensity distribution of the binary disks.
