We present preliminary results from a Chandra survey of quasar jets. When completed, the survey will encompass X-ray observations of quasars with known radio jets also expected to show X-ray jets. The goals of the survey include determining good targets for detailed imaging and spectral follow-up, testing models of the X-ray emission in jets, and examining the X-ray spectra of quasar cores in order to model the origins of jets. The Chandra results are complemented by ongoing correlated observations carried out by the Australian Telescope Compact Array and the Magellan telescope and we anticipate optical follow-up of the interesting candidates with the Hubble Space Telescope. We show here the high resolution X-ray structure of those jets observed to date and examine the application of synchrotron modeling to the jet spectra. We also compare the properties of the jets to those of extensively studied sources such as 3C 273 and M 87.
