We present the results of a VLBI study of a complete sample of Compact Symmetric Objects (CSO) or CSO candidates, which are currently thought to be the progenitors of the extended powerful extragalactic radio sources. The objects presented here are a subsample of the complete sample of bright GHz-Peaked-Spectrum radio sources selected by , A&A 131, 303).
