A complete numerical solution is obtained for the system of differential equations describing expansion of the stellar wind with heat transfer within the framework of the standard two-fluid solar wind model. The critical point (initial boundary) is numerically linked to the asymptotic range (outer boundary) using the shooting-splitting integration method described by Firnett and Troesch (1972). Results are consistent with asymptotic solutions proposed by Lucas (1973).
