This paper describes the construction of a compilation catalog, from observation catalogs of extragalatic radio sources having positions with internal accuracies of a few milliarcseconds. The catalog lists 42 objects with at least three independent observations each. On the average its estimated accuracy is 0.7 mas in right ascension and 1.0 mas in declination compatible with the calculated mean differences between observation catalogs and the compilation catalog. At the level of 0.5 mas the current version is insensitive to addition, deletion or exchange of one of the high precision catalogs.
