Assuming hydrostatic equilibrium, X-ray observations can be used to derive estimates for the masses of clusters of galaxies. Such estimates provide an independent check on masses derived from optical gravitational lensing. Since lensing masses are free of assumptions about the dynamical state of the cluster, such comparisons also allow us to test the validity of these assumptions. In this work, we will discuss results from an analysis of Chandra observations of the cluster PKS 0745-191 (z=0.1028). We present estimates for the total cluster mass in luminous and dark components and compare these results with estimates from gravitational lensing data taken from the literature.
