We compare our analytic and Monte Carlo relativistic thermal models for photon Comptonization with previous thermal models in the literature. We show that the rejection of a pure thermal model for interpreting the OSSE-Ginga data "at the likelihood of ˜95%,, is the result of inaccuracy of the numerical thermal model used. Therefore, there is no need for a hybrid nonthermal/thermal model for the interpretation of these data.
