The mass distribution indices of the chondrules in nineteen unequilibrated chondrites are calculated from data given by Dodd (1976) and compared with the mass distribution indices of the meteoroids in the most active meteor streams intercepted by earth. The surprising similarity in these values suggests another fact indicating a common time and place of origin for chondrules and stream meteoroids.
