Albedo-color and color-color diagrams for asteroids with known albedo values and spectral characteristics are constructed and compared with similar lunar diagrams constructed on the basis of optical maps of the moon. A class of 15 S-type asteroids having combinations of optical characteristics typical of the lunar surface is identified. It is found that the 'moonlike' asteroids apparently have a more mature regolith than most asteroids of optical class S and tend to be located in the inner halves of the secondary rings of the asteroid belt.
