We present a revised frequency analysis of photometry of the rapidly oscillating Ap star HR 1217 (HD 24712) obtained in a Whole Earth Telescope (WET) campaign during November 2000. HR 1217 was already known to exhibit high-order acoustic modes with roughly equal spacing, making it one of the best candidates to test and apply asymptotic pulsation theory. However, one of the modes did not easily fit within a purely aymptotic interpretation. Cunha has proposed that some frequencies in this star may be perturbed by its magnetic field. We attempt to identify frequencies which may not have been recognised in previous analyses, and use the eignespectrum to test and refine Cunha's theory.
