Using cluster analysis methods, miras are classified from the global features of their visual and near-infrared light curves. Groups of stars, stable against various clustering analyses, are defined. Some correlations between the membership to one cluster and physical properties of the mira are searched. We do not find a break between the properties of the clusters but rather a continuous variation from one to another. The classification of miras which were not included in stars for clustering confirms the established correlations. The minimum luminosity of a mira likely appears as a more stable state than its maximum.
