Recent data obtained by the Chandra X-ray Observatory has demonstrated that the jet launch and collimation region of protostellar jets contain high-temperature X-ray emitting plasma; a previously unknown property from low frequency studies. Thus, providing evidence that protostellar jets could possibly be considered as strong X-ray emitters. Here, we present Chandra observations of Herbig-Haro objects HH184 and HH300, and explore the possible origin of their X-ray emission: unabsorbed jet emission from HH184 versus protostellar emission from HH300.
