We present an analysis of a Chandra observation of the Sculptor Group Sd galaxy NGC 45. We have observed this galaxy as part of a campaign to detect supernova remnants in nearby galaxies using observations made at multiple wavelengths. This observation represents the first pointed observation made of NGC 45 with any X-ray observatory. We have discovered approximately 20 discrete sources in this galaxy: an analysis of the properties of these sources and initial results will be presented and discussed.
