UBV CCD photometry of 19 stars in the field of NGC 6712 is presented. For the brighter stars the agreement with photoelectric measurements by Sandage and Smith is excellent, while the sequence extends sufficiently faint and covers a wide-enough color range so as to be useful for the calibration of deep-CCD or photographic observations of the cluster and adjacent field.
