A comprehensive catalog of over 2000 low-resolution IUE spectra obtained through 1987 is described which covers about 100 dwarf novae and novalike stars. The motivation of the catalog, the basic characteristics of the data base, and the data-reduction and display methods are reviewed; and the individual sections of the catalog are briefly discussed, including the list of spectra, AAVSO light curves, published IUE observations, references for published observations, a full list of spectra, and a list of alternative names. Data for RX Andromedae are shown as an example.
