Scientific paper

A catalog of radio sources which lie along the paths of comets P/Halley and P/Giacobini-Zinner is presented to facilitate planning of radio-source occultation experiments. The sources were observed at 20 cm wavelength, using the VLA in the B configuration to provide accurate positions and flux densities for occultation predictions. Since the majority of these sources had not been previously mapped, the catalog and source maps may be of more general use than solely for occultation experiments.
