Scientific paper

A catalog of 506 reference stars in the FK4 system, covering the
P/Halley pre-perihelion cometary path approximately between November
1985 and January 1986, has been derived from plates taken with the
Hamburg 23-cm astrograph in fall 1985. Stars have been selected from
AGK3 within a strip of about 1.5 degrees width along the cometary path.
