Scientific paper

A catalog of star forming regions, which contains about 2900 objects, is presented. It provides comprehensive information on photometric IR and radio fluxes, radial velocities of the recombination, and molecular lines and masers. The distribution of star forming regions in the Galaxy is derived from the data. Several preliminary results of the catalog study are given.
