A linear approximating equation exists for the boundary of a uniformly
rotating polytrope. The equation in a parameter, eta, permits rapid
calculation of the polytrope radius for any latitude and is accurate for
angular velocities of rotation close to critical rotation. Data in this
paper apply to a polytrope index of 3.0.
