A bimetric Machian approach to gravitation with a mathematical structure much simpler than one of Rosen's bimetric theories is presented. Two cosmological models based on the assumption that the universe is filled with pure dust homogeneous and isotropic in space are developed. One of these is compatible with the currently observed value of the density of dust matter and provides an age of the universe which is on the order of the inverse of the present Hubble parameter. A Schwarzschildlike solution and its Newtonian limit are obtained together with modified Kepler laws. The Newtonian limit of the theory is also obtained. The local Newtonian mass is found to decrease very slowly with time.
