A survey of the field delta = -(6 deg 08 arcmin - 6 deg 28 arcmin), alpha = 5h 39m-7h 55m in the galactic plane near the Mon R2 association with the RATAN-600 radio telescope, equipped with a sensitive lambda = 7.6 cm radiometer, has revealed 93 sources of flux density S not less than 20 mJy, nearly twice the expected number of extragalactic background sources. Within the survey strip are three compact groups of sources (not counting the Mon R2 field). Many of the new sources are galactic.
