With regard to the spectrum of ZrO, an investigation of the 8192 A band is reported; the source is an arc in air between electrodes of natural zirconium, and all isotopes of zirconium are present. Line wavenumbers for the 2Pi(1/2)-2Sigma(-) (0-0) and the 2Pi(3/2)-2Sigma(-) (0-0) transitions of ZrO(+) are tabulated. Two bands in the ZrO spectrum with heads at 7811 and 8192 A are found to be the two spin-split components of the 0-0 band of a 2Pi-2Sigma transition produced by ZrO(+).
