Previous spectral line surveys have revealed a wealth of new information on the chemistry of star formation. However, less than a dozen sources have been targeted, the bulk of the work being performed towards just two (Orion-KL and Sgr B2). Furthermore, there have been no spectral line surveys in the 12mm band. With the recently upgraded Mopra telescope, we aim to survey 57 sources across the entire 12mm band. We wil use the results of this, and a companion 3mm line survey to identify chemical markers (clocks) of the various stages of massive star formation.
