88 Tau A has been observed with Reticon spectra of high resolution and
good signal-to-noise ratio in the Li I - 6707 Å region. This
bright star, known to be a SB2 Am star, lately resolved by speckle
interferometry, actually is a spectroscopic quintuple system, that is a
SB 5 star. Thus 88 Tau A forms with 88 Tau B a family of 6 stars.
