Cosmic ray exposure ages date impact events on parent bodies from which different classes of meteorites have been extracted during collisions in the asteroidal belt. Eugster and Michel recently summarized available data on eucrite, howardite, and diogenite (HED) exposure ages and showed the existence of five common break-up events at 6 +/- 2 Ma, 12 +/- 2 Ma, 21 +/- 4 Ma, 38 +/- 8 Ma, 73 +/- 3 Ma. This finding most likely indicates a common source for the HED meteorites. For eucrites, however, the clustering is not as pronounced as it is for the diogenites. One possible reason is the relatively large uncertainty in the Ne-21 and Ar-38 exposure ages. The (81)Kr-Kr dating method yields more reliable and more precise exposure ages when applied to eucrites. To expand the statistics of (81)Kr-Kr exposure ages of eucrites we have measured the isotopic composition of Kr in six eucrites (Cachari, Chervony, Kut, Jonzac, Moore County, Pomozdino, Vetluga) for which (81)Kr-Kr ages have not been available until now. In addition, Kr from Bereba, Juvinas, Pasamonte, and Sioux County eucrites has been analyzed to compare our results on (81)Kr-Kr ages with literature data. The obtained (81)Kr-Kr ages (T81) are in good agreement with data from the literature. The distribution of (81)Kr-Kr ages is illustrated and shows clear clustering. These findings strongly confirm the presence of major asteroid break-up events for the eucrite parent body at 6 +/- 1 Ma, 12 +/- 2 Ma, 21 +/- 4 Ma, and 38 +/- 8 Ma. Moreover, the concordance of the exposure ages clustering for HED meteorites becomes more clear. This indicates the common parent body for these meteorites.
