During the period April - May 1984 the flux densities of 25 extragalactic radio sources were monitored with the Metsähovi Radio Telescope at a frequency of 77 GHz. In BL Lac the authors found a 10 day event where the flux rose by about 40%. Another short term change was observed in OJ 287 whose flux density fell from 6.9 to 3.5 Jy in 28 days during May 1984.
